About me

Hey, I'm Joshua Finn. I am a Senior at Clemson University studying mechanical engineering. A lot has happened over the past few years. I'm now a flight instructor for single engine airplanes. The picture on the right is of my dad, me, and cessna 5400Q, the plane I soloed in on my 16th birthday. And she was recently re-painted and looks gorgeous! I now instruct in this aircraft. At Clemson, I instruct in the flying club's Cessna 152 and 172. Lord willing, I'll be attending grad school here at Clemson for my Ph.D in Mechanical Engineering.

I'm active in Cross Impact and University Baptist Church here at Clemson as well as Horizon Christian Fellowship of Summerville back home. God has done a lot in my life and I credit Him with all this freeflight and avaiting stuff. But most importantly, He is the giver of salvation through Jesus Christ. If you are unfamiliar with this, please feel free to contact me. I'd love to share my testimony and God's love with you.

I build the models on this site in my (little) free time. I have been into freeflight for about 9 years and really enjoy it. I also fly model rockets on occasion. My other hobbies include entomology and amateur astronomy with my 16" Meade dobsonian reflector telescope.
